Lady Gaga Discusses Polaroid Grey Label with CNBC

Lady Gaga sat down with CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo at the 2011 Customer Electronics Show (CES) on Friday, to discuss the new Polaroid Grey Label line and her work as the company’s creative director.

Talking about lending her creativity to Polaroid as the company’s creative director, Gaga said “I was really driving everyone crazy at Polaroid because they were saying, ‘What’s the camera of the future Gaga?’, and I [held up a smartphone],” the singer explained. “I said everyone takes pictures with their camera phones and nobody uses cameras anymore. The best thing we could do as a company is to combine instant film with something that is digital that’s almost never printed. You almost never print your camera phone pictures.”

Lady Gaga considers herself a “visionary,” not just a songwriter/musician, but also a designer saying she and her fans "love music, we love fashion, we love technology, we're obsessed with the future, and with some the environment.”
