Lady Gaga Records Duet with Elton John

In October, Lady Gaga finished recording her duet with Elton John for the upcoming Disney animated film Gnomeo and Juliet. The song called “Hello, Hello” will be released as a part of the film’s soundtrack on February 8, 2011.

Elton explained to Access Hollywood that he approached Gaga about singing on the song after her performance at his 2010 White Tie & Tiara Ball charity event: "We became friends, and I adore her," he said. "I told her about the song, and she said, 'I'd love to do it,' and she did it. We're just so thrilled she took time out of her incredibly busy schedule to do it."

John added that Gaga put her own spin on the pop tune. "She had fun with it and changed it a little bit and brought her own personality to it, so she gave Juliet that personality," he said.

Sir Elton and Lady Gaga performed together at February's Grammy awards, where they opened the gala with three of their songs. "I'd love to [work with her] in the future," John told EW at the time. "She's so busy, and I'm so busy, so we can never get together."
