Lady Gaga shared with the world an important announcement today on her brand new social network. She can now add "actress" to her long list of accomplishments, as she will be making her big screen debut in the upcoming movie Machete Kills.
Mother Monster will share the screen with other important actors such as Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan, Alexa Vega and Sofia Vergara.
The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space. The movie is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Lady Gaga will play the role of La Chamaléon. The singer told fans on Twitter: "I'm so excited! Filming was insane!"
