'The Darkness' Talks About Their Work Alongside Lady Gaga


After seven years of absence, the British band The Darkness return with their album 'Hot Cakes' and as special guests of the pop diva Lady Gaga on her world tour The Born This Way Ball. The combination of these musicians, who twinned the bizarre costumes and makeup, she for her work in the studio.



"She invited us to her tour, we were preparing to launch our album and called us," guitarist Dan Hawkins said yesterday in an interview with The Associated Press hours before his concert at the Foro Sol in Mexico City.

"We spent time with her and show you some of our new album and liked it, and she taught us something new he had done ... is very talented and very smart," said bassist Frankie Poullain.

Rockers toured Europe with Lady Gaga and also plan to open their concert in San Juan, Puerto Rico, San José, Costa Rica, Bogota and Santiago de Chile, so they come to know quite well and could reveal if it falls into the stereotype of the bad divas.

"No comment," Hawkins joked. "She is very friendly, is a very prolific, always working in the studio or at your next costume," he added.

In his first tour of Latin America The Darkness has many expectations. "We hope that the public is less cynical and more willing to let go.
