Lady Gaga will be the face of Shiseido's 2015 New Year's ad campaign in Japan — and she will also be its photographer.

The pop star shot 50 different selfies of her famous face, and each one of which will appear in a different Japanese newspaper over the New Year period, which is typically a busy shopping time across the country. Forty-six of the ads will be published on Thursday, January 1, and the remaining four will be published on Monday, January 5. 

Newspapers that will be running the ads include both national and regional publications, but Shiseido has no plans to use the ads outside of Japan. Stay tuned for more information as well as the oficial selfie-graphs of the campaign.
