Maxwell met Gaga through Nicola Formichetti and has been working with her for a long period. He was responsible for the wordrobe of the Cheek To Cheek tour with Tony Bennett, as well as the gown she wear during the red carpet appearance at this year's Oscars and he also covered the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Most Powerful Stylist alongside Mother Monster back in March.
I'm so excited to be fulfilling a lifelong dream of design, making clothes inspired by all of the powerful women in my life from the classic to the avant-garde. It's important that it's humble and taken seriously. I want women to want to wear the clothes, and I want people to say it was well-made and well thought out.
The show date and format still to be determined. Stay tune for further updates and additional info.
