It has been announced today that Lady Gaga and actor Jake Gyllenhaal have been added at the list to presenters that will be attending this year's Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grand Banquet Dinner Annual Grants Banquet Dinner.

Gaga and Gyllenhaal will join previously announced presenters America Ferrera, Andrew Garfield, Benicio del Toro, Hally Barry, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jane Fonda, Joe Manganiello, Sarah Silverman, Sharon Stone and others on Thursday, August 13th at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California
The HFPA will grant more than $2 million in funds to non-profit entertainment-related organizations and scholarship programs, topping last year’s contributions of more than $1.9 million. Through the years the Association has granted a total of $23.9 million to a host of institutions and projects, ranging from higher education and preservation of films to training, mentoring and promoting cultural exchange through cinema.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association was founded in the 1940s during World War II and was originally comprised of a handful of LA based overseas journalists. The small group wished to bridge the international community with Hollywood, and to provide distraction from the hardships of war through film.
