Lady Gaga Performs at amfAR Inspiration Gala

Lady Gaga performed an hour-long jazz set during amfAR Inspiration Gala at Milk Studion in Los Angeles on Thursday night honoring Ryan Murphy who serve as a lifelong ambassador for the organization, wich aims to find a cure for AIDS in 2020. This year's amfAR Gala raised over $3 million toward HIV/AIDS research and Lady Gaga contributed to the total by bidding a winning $200,000 on a photograph of Elizabeth Taylor taken in 2001.

"I love Ryan so much, and I'm so, so happy to be here. He's really my friend and he's a wonderful person," said Gaga, who stars in the latest season of Murphy's show American Horror Story. She added: "Since I met Ryan, I have rediscovered something in myself, and it's my favorite part of me so thank you. I think it's because you appreciate the part of me my Christian guilt is mortified by."
