For a second year in a row, Lady Gaga and her fiancé Taylor Kinney took an icy dip in Lake Michigan as part of the annual Chicago Polar Plunge at North Avenue Beach. Besides Gaga and her fiancé, 'Today Show' weatherman Al Roker and the cast of NBC's 'Chicago Fire' and 'Chicago PD' decided to participate in the 16th edition of the event, which benefits Special Olympics. The money raised at the Polar Plunge allows the organization to sustain its athletic programs and reach even more people in the Chicago area. There are 6,000 Special Olympic athletes in Chicago competing in 22 sports.
