Gaga started by saying:"I'm so, so very proud to be here.I think that maybe even this is one of my most favorite days I've ever had. [...] Sometimes I feel like I've been asleep. I could never have fathomed that I would experience in my lifetime that a woman would become president of the United States.

"During this election we watched her endure such hateful language with dignity. She stood with pride as she was shamed by her opponent, whose angry divisive approach to campaigning divided our entire country. What I'm asking you is to fight for your future and the future of our children" Gaga told the crowd. Afterwards, she took the stage to perform some of her hits including a piano ballad of 'Bad Romance,' 'Born This Way,' 'Come To Mama,' from her newest album Joanne and a duet alongside Jon Bon Jovi.

Lady Gaga paid homage to the late Michael Jackson wearing the same black jacket he wore when he visited the White House in 1990.
