Lady Gaga has canceled abruptly her performance at the Rock In Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, due to severe pain. The official statement was published by the festival's site on Thursday morning after her messages on social media.

Gaga told fans through Twitter saying: "Brazil, I'm devastated that I'm not well enough to come to Rock In Rio, I would do anything for you but I have to take care of my body right now. I ask for your grace and understanding and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon. I'm so sorry, and I love you so much."


Gaga has been experiencing body pain since her hip injury back in 2013 when she was about to finish the last leg of her Born This Way Ball tour. "Thought ice helped #Fibromyalgia. I was wrong & making it worse. Warm/Heat is better. Electric Heated Blanket, Infrared Sauna, Epsom Baths. she tweeted two days before her Rock In Rio show cancellation, which was her unique stop in Latin/South America of her Joanne World tour.
