Yeah. you know who?." she added.
The quiet moment of her answer in which she was about to say a name, was actually Winehouse's name according to Chris, which explained she was referring how much love and appreciation she had for her. "We never heard and we never talked about it. It was just in the line of what she was saying. She was talking about other women that had succumbed to the pressure of fame or the exploitation of celebrity. And these are artists that she felt, at least with her VMAs performance where she wass bleeding out on stage, she felt it was kind of a tribute to them" he said.
Moukarbel also mentioned that they had a special bond and Amy's spirit was present in the studio. "She's very aware of this stuff so, she references someone else. She never says Amy's name but it's understood I think in that moment. So you know, it's sad. I mean, they were friends and obviously Mark Ronson who's working with Gaga in the studio at that time, was very close to Amy and produced "Back to Black" and, Amy's spirit sort of felt around the studio a lot maybe just for that reason."
