Indian singer, music composer, dancer and record producer Bappi Lahiri has revealed he recorded two duets with Lady Gaga. The news was spilled by Lahiri himself at a recent interview for the Mumbai Mirror, where he opened up about the upcoming tracks.
Without many details given, he explained that Gaga sings both tracks in English while he sings in Hindi. Lahiri said that he is now waiting for the release of the two tracks to be greenlit, and he hopes they are released by the end of the year. No release date has been set yet.
Yes, two duets, with her singing in English and me in Hindi in my inimitable style. We are now waiting for the release to be greenlit, hopefully by the year-end. -Bappi Lahiri
This collab-news broke just days after Gaga tweeted a Sanskrit mantra and Hindu prayer called 'Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavnatu', which translates to: ''May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all".
