Lady Gaga is returning from Chromatica to planet Earth to win this year's MTV Video Music Awards with the nine categories in which she has been nominated. The 9x-Grammy winning artist leads the list alongside her peer, friend and collaborator Ariana Grande, followed by Billie Eilish and The Weekend.
Gaga's nominations includes Best Artist, Song Of The Year, Video Of The Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Choreography, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects for her hit single 'Rain On Me', and Best Quarantine Performance for her rendition of 'Smile' from the ''One World: Together at Home'' online pandemic relief by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization earlier this year.
This time, fans will be able to cast up to 20 votes every hour in every category at mtv.com/vma/vote/ by logging in with their Twitter and Google accounts or signing up on MTV's website. The 2020 VMAs will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, August 30 live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, as well as from various iconic locations throughout New York City's five boroughs.
