Lady Gaga has been part of the long-awaited episode of "Friends: The Reunion," the new HBO Max special that aired last night, in which she joined Lisa Kudrow's character: Phoebe Buffay, in the iconic Central Perk Cafe, to perform the fan-favorite and iconic song 'Smelly Cat', in the way only Gaga can make it, including a gospel choir in it.
Right after the performance, Gaga had the chance to talk to Lisa to let her know how important her character Phoebe is, just for being really herself: ''Thank you so much for being the person for all of us on 'Friends' that was the... I don't even know if this is the right way to say it, but the different one or the one that was really herself''. ''Aw, thank you, and thanks for carrying it along,'' responded Lisa.
Friends, the all-time favorite and iconic American sitcom aired from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons, All of them ranked within the top ten of the final television season ratings. The final show was watched by around 52.5 million American viewers, making it the fifth most-watched series finale in television history, and the most-watched television episode of the 2000s.
