The lavish grounds of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania shimmered under the twilight sky on the night of the Summer Solstice event, as music enthusiasts from far and wide gathered for a magical evening with none other than the enigmatic Lady Gaga. The star-studded affair promised a night of music, glamour, and unforgettable moments, and of course, she did not disappoint.
Gaga stunned the audience with her first look of the evening with a full Ralph Lauren ensemble, a custom long stole version of the Fall/Winter 2012 hand-painted black and metallic gold marabou shawl, custom plummet showgirl awe by Arturo Rios and her Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps in black patent leather.
With a setlist that included her greatest hits, Gaga showcased the full range of her talents effortlessly transitioning from fan favorites to heart-wrenching ballads including ''You and I,'' ''I Can't Give You Anything But Love" accompanied by Brian Newman and other band members, ''Americano", "Shallow" and"Always Remember Us This Way" were also part of the setlist. Then it was the turn of her rendition of “La Vie en Rose”, her cover of Tony Bennett's evergreen “Steppin’ Out With My Baby”, and she closed the show with "Born This Way" and "Bad Romance".
The second outfit change was a Fall/Winter 2020 fringe mini dress of an archive of Naeem Khan, a metallic mottled palm leaf fascinator by Aimee Fuller Millinery, and metallic Anouk pumps by Jimmy Choo.
The third outfit included a Giorgio Armani plush black velvet strapless bustier column dress, the Fall/Winter 2018 Privé Haute Couture pink ostrich coque feather coat, a pale pink Julia veiled fascinator from Carrie Jenkinson Millinery’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, and the Melissa opera-length black velvet gloves by Cornelia James.
The last outfit was a black satin dress by Michael Costello, trimmed with luxurious ostrich feathers by Mother Plucker Feather Company and featuring beaded appliqués on the shoulder and waist with a vintage Philip Treacy 1996 black feather firework headpiece which has already been previously worn by Gaga back in London in 2015.
