Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Premiere "Die With a Smile" Song & Music Video

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have released the music video and song simultaneously for their collaboration “Die With a Smile.”

The music video for "Die With A Smile" is as striking as the song itself. Directed by Bruno Mars and Daniel Ramos, the video takes viewers back in time with its vintage, 1970s-inspired setting. The video opens with Mars softly strumming his guitar, followed by Gaga seated at a piano, a cigarette in hand, adding her signature edgy glam. Both artists are dressed in matching denim outfits with bold red accents, enhancing the nostalgic yet modern vibe.

The set design evokes an old-school television studio, with warm lighting and retro touches that bring a sense of intimacy to the performance. The video’s simplicity allows the focus to remain on the emotional depth of the song, as Mars and Gaga harmonize beautifully, singing, "If the world was ending, I’d want to be next to you." One particularly memorable moment in the video comes when Gaga leaves the piano to dance, adding a dynamic flair to the otherwise minimalistic set. Their chemistry is palpable, blending Gaga’s bold charisma with Mars’ smooth style.

"Die With A Smile" marks a significant moment for both Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars as they return to the music scene after periods of creative exploration. Gaga, who has been teasing her upcoming seventh studio album (LG7), hasn’t released a solo album since 2020’s Chromatica.

The song is not just a duet; it’s a heartfelt tribute to love and connection in the face of life’s impermanence. The poignant lyrics and stripped-back production emphasize the song’s emotional core, while the music video enhances the overall experience with its nostalgic yet fresh visual approach. The release of "Die With A Smile" has already generated massive buzz, with fans and music critics praising both the song and the video for their emotional resonance and creative direction. As Gaga and Mars continue to evolve their artistry, this collaboration feels like the beginning of a new, exciting chapter for both
