Lady Gaga Teases New Snippet of ''The Joker''

Lady Gaga has published a new video with a snippet of a rendition of Shirley Bassey's "The Joker," a song that is expected to be featured on her upcoming project "Harlequin," an album inspired by the movie Joker: Folie à Deux, which will be released this Friday, Sept. 27.

The video features Gaga in full character mode dancing around the Louvre Museum in Paris and interacting with famous art pieces like ''The Mona Lisa'' in which the the iconic 'Joker' lipstick smile was drawn.

This collaboration between Gaga and The Louvre Museum announces its upcoming new art exhibition titled ''Figures Du Fou,'' starting October 2024 – 3 February 2025 the museum is dedicating an unprecedented exhibition to the myriad figures of the fool, which permeated the pictorial landscape of the 13th to the 16th centuries.

Throughout the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the fool came to occupy every available artistic space, insinuating himself into illuminated manuscripts, printed books and engravings, tapestries, paintings, sculptures, and all manner of objects both precious and mundane. His fascinating, perplexing, and subversive figure loomed large in the turmoil of an era not so different from our own.

"Joker: Folie à Deux", starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix will be released in cinemas from October 4.
