Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars Win ''Best Pop Duo'' at 67th Grammys


Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars clinched the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award for their collaborative hit, "Die With a Smile." at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 2, 2025.

The song, released on August 16, 2024, through Interscope Records, will appear on Gaga's forthcoming seventh studio album, ''Mayhem.'' The track showcases the duo's vocal prowess and has been lauded for its blend of pop, soft rock, and soul elements. 


In their acceptance speech, Bruno Mars expressed his honor in collaborating with Lady Gaga, attributing their success to a divine gift. Lady Gaga praised Mars' musical talent and addressed the importance of visibility and support for the transgender and queer communities.

Earlier in the evening, the duo delivered a poignant performance of "California Dreamin'," honoring those affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Gaga and Mars appeared onstage to perform "California Dreamin’" (originally recorded by Barry McGuire but made famous by the Mamas & The Papas). With Gaga draped in a sheer, flower-embroidered maxi dress and Mars in a tan suit and straw hat, they embodied the laidback and melancholy dreaminess of the 1965 classic.


"Die With a Smile" which was also nominated for ''Best Song'' has achieved significant commercial success, topping the Billboard Global 200 chart for eight weeks and reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 6, 2025. The collaboration between Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars has not only resonated with audiences worldwide but also highlighted their commitment to using their platform to address pertinent social issues.
